Let me tell y’all—this strawberry fruit cream sherbet is one of my favorite summer treats. Light, creamy, fruity, and refreshing… and best of all, it’s made with just a few whole ingredients. I originally started making this in my blender long before I got my Nama J2 juicer, and it’s still just as good either way!
This recipe is really forgiving, so feel free to get creative. I usually use frozen strawberries, dragon fruit, and banana. The banana is key because it acts as a natural sweetener and creamer. If you like it sweeter, you can always drizzle a little sweetened condensed milk on top (trust me, it takes it over the top!). I also like to finish mine with chopped nuts and a little fresh fruit—makes it feel extra special.
Whether you’re using a fancy juicer or just your blender and a little patience, this is a treat the whole family can enjoy. And you don’t have to feel guilty about it, either. Whole fruit, no dairy, no fuss.

Ingredients:
• 1 ½ cups frozen strawberries
• ½ cup frozen dragon fruit (pink or white works—use what you have)
• 1 medium ripe banana, sliced and frozen
• A splash of liquid (water, plant milk, or fruit juice—just enough to help it blend)
• Optional:
• Sweetened condensed milk for topping
• Chopped nuts (like macadamia nut, pecans, almonds, or walnuts)
• Fresh fruit for garnish
⸻
Instructions:
If using the Nama J2 juicer with the sherbet attachment:
-Make sure your fruit is fully frozen -let it sit out about 5 minutes (I slice and freeze mine ahead of time)
-Feed the fruit slowly into the juicer, alternating strawberries, dragon fruit, and banana.
-Let the machine work its magic!
-Scoop into a bowl and top with condensed milk, nuts, or fresh fruit as desired.
If using a blender:
-Add frozen strawberries, dragon fruit, and banana to the blender.
-Add a small splash of liquid to help it blend. Start with just a tablespoon or two.
-Blend until creamy and smooth, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.
-Serve immediately or freeze for 15–20 minutes if you want a firmer texture.
-Top it off with anything you like—get creative!
