At Naava’s Nourishing Garden, we’re always exploring ways to nourish the body and soul with wholesome, homemade creations. Today, I want to share with you a delightful tea recipe featuring chamomile, honey, strawberry, and kiwi fruit. This combination not only provides a refreshing flavor but also delivers an abundance of health benefits.

Why These Ingredients?

Chamomile is known for its calming effects, making it perfect for stress relief, digestion, and sleep support.

Honey adds natural sweetness and provides antioxidant and antibacterial properties.

Strawberries are rich in vitamin C and antioxidants, promoting immune health and skin vitality.

Kiwi offers a dose of fiber, vitamin C, and potassium, all of which support digestion and cardiovascular health.

Together, they create a soothing, fruity tea that’s both delicious and beneficial.

How to Make Chamomile, Honey, Strawberry & Kiwi Tea

Ingredients:

• 1 chamomile tea bag (or loose-leaf chamomile)

• Honey to taste

• 4-5 fresh strawberries

• 1 ripe kiwi

• Cheesecloth for straining

• Large canning jar (or any jar with a lid)

Instructions:

1. Steep the Chamomile Tea:

Boil water and steep your chamomile tea for about 5-7 minutes. Add honey to taste while the tea is still hot so it dissolves easily. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. Prepare the Fruit:

Rinse your strawberries and kiwi. Remove the stems from the strawberries and peel the kiwi. Slice them into smaller pieces for easier blending.

3. Blend for Maximum Flavor:

Using an immersion blender, blend the strawberries and kiwi to extract as much juice as possible. If you don’t have an immersion blender, a regular blender will work too.

4. Strain the Pulp:

Place the fruit mixture into a cheesecloth and strain the juice into a bowl, squeezing out every last drop. Discard the pulp or use it in smoothies or desserts!

5. Combine & Shake:

Pour the fruit juice into the chamomile tea and honey blend. If you’re using a large canning jar (which I highly recommend), screw the lid on tightly and give it a good shake to mix everything well.

6. Enjoy!

Serve over ice for a refreshing drink, or enjoy it warm for a soothing, cozy treat. It’s one of my favorite nightcaps!!
