Keep reading to see Which seeds to grow to build confidence and to cultivate your, "Green Thumb".

Most seed packets will give you guidance on how and when to plant the seeds. This is not always the case, some companies will refer you back to their website and for other the information is just a search engine away. If starting early which is highly recommended if you have a shorter growing season the suggestion is usually 4 to 6 weeks before you last frost date.

Frost Dates
The information on frost dates is based off of years of data so it's usually pretty reliable. Keep in mind like myself some have micro-climates that are naturally occurring or that they created so you can't always compare your growing conditions to others even if they are in the same growing zones.
Spacing
I could write and entire dissertation on plant spacing based off of all of the studies that are out there. The simplest common sense solution is usually the tried and true way. Space just like anything plants need space to grow to be it's best self. There are many techniques and opinions on spacing so I won't dive into that rabbit hole. Take the time to research it and remember to note it in your gardening journal that can be ordered here or your gardening notebook whichever you use.
A Note of Encouragement
In closing a simple reminder seeds that are easy to start germinate easily, don't have to a must have temperature standard and aren't temperamental when being handled. Choose to grow things that you will actually use and start early when planning your garden so things can go as seamless as possible. Don't forget you can get my Garden Journal Template Here!
